John Zachary DeLorean's origins are Romanian. His father Zaharia Delorean, married with Kathryn (also from Romania, but of hungarian ethnicity) comes from the Șugag village (near Sebeș city), Alba County. There are today living relatives from the part of Zaharia's brother.
