A little late but I found a song called Suzie Q from 1936. Couldn't find anything earlier than that. Still got no idea what it means or where it came from or who thought it up and why. It bugs me how often I hear it while knowing that no one really knows what it means.

I was called Susie Q when I was born in November 1946!
Called that my entire life. Middle name is Sue. I have a friend that is four years older and she was called Susie Q.
