Hangó surname where does it come from? why many hango names in Africa? For colony? I'm not African. Hangó, hango the same? comes from a place or not? (I from hungary and not han dinasty i'm not asian and inca) I don't look like a Chinese or an Indian.
Where does the Hangó come from? Johan from? (john, johnson, james, hen, henry, ing, han, hans, hancock etc ..) Which branch can get? English, French, Spain , italian, German? Dutch? Belgian? swiss or scandinavian or scotish, irish? a mixture these? what do you think?

Hello, I have no idea if you’ll see this post 3 years later, but my ancestors were also Hangos from Hungary. The surname was changed to Hongo when our relative István came to America in the early 20th century. My family is also trying to find more information about our past.
