The Arabic female name Aneesa means friendly. I think that could be it.

There's also a Sanskrit word Anisha (an + isha: not + powerful). It means both 'powerless' and 'not having a master, the Supreme'. When used as a name (m) it obviously has the second meaning. It is an epithet of both Shiva and Vishnu.
