I'm looking for female names with a particular meaning, apologies if this should be on the other board.
My daughter was born earlier this week. She arrived so quickly we didn't make it to the hospital, so I'm curious as to whether there are any names that might reflect her speedy arrival. Can anyone think of something appropriate? I'm open to any origin if the meaning fits the occasion.

That is the historical meaning of the adjective "rash."
rash (adj.)
late 14c., "nimble, quick, vigorous" (early 14c. as a surname), a Scottish and northern word, perhaps from Old English -ræsc (as in ligræsc "flash of lightning") or one of its Germanic cognates, from Proto-Germanic *raskuz (source also of Middle Low German rasch, Middle Dutch rasc "quick, swift," German rasch "quick, fast"). Related to Old English horsc "quick-witted." Sense of "reckless, impetuous, heedless of consequences" is attested from c. 1500. Related: Rashly; rashness

How about Rasha
or Rashelle (-elle = "girl")?

Surprise has no hits and the only hits for unexpected is a male name. So, you may want to think outside of the box. I think Olympia would be really cute, paying homage to being quick and fast as those competing in the Olympics would be. Or maybe the name of the woman with the fastest recorded labor, Mary? Or what about an homage to the fastest mammal, the cheetah, with the name Felina or Cita (from the Hindi word for cheetah)?
