I am just seeing this post, years later! My name is Lael (I am female), pronounced 'Lail' like pail, snail, whale, etc. :)

My name is Lael (Pronounced Lay-el) and my name has been said so many different ways I've lost count. My least favorite pronunciation is Lail (rhymes with pail, kale, whale, etc). My friend says it like that sometimes to annoy me.
