came across an artist named this a while back, and it seems to be an Arabic name. anyone know what it means, or how to say it?

My guess is that it's a variant of Wafai. In North African countries, they use OU in place of W.

When transcribing it into arabic and searching, I came across this:

Another website (in Dutch, and I don't consider it a very reliable source) says it means 'faith / trust'.
