Not clear what you mean. More symbolic than what? What word origin are you working with? Please clarify.

I think he or she means some kind of folk etymology, based on the two common Spanish words that you can see in "Andalucia" if you like to do so: "andar" (walk) and "luz" (light).
Just slip a "spiritual" in there for good measure, and presto: "Walk into spiritual light".
