Archivesorigin of given name Onvia
My mother's middle name was Onvia, and, although I have always known it was unusual, I am now finding that it is apparently unheard of! I have tried numerous searches to try to discover it's origin and have gotten nowhere. Does anyone have any information? Thanks!

Hi my first name is onvia ... Never met anyone with the same name although is unique and beautiful to me... when people first hear the name they’re like wow where are you from what does it mean it’s so erotic .... just decided to look it up and see what it means and I saw this that you posted.....anyway just wanted to let u know have a good day!!!

I think you or they mean "exotic" not "erotic".
