Gaite appears to be a Dutch female name, simply based on the fact that the only person I've seen bearing it is Gaite Jansen, a Dutch actress. Anyone know what it means?

Gaite is actually french in origin and is a variation of gaitety.

I think this site states it was first recorded in 2011? (which is possible even with the actress; since unique names will often go unrecorded if they are not given to enough people for privacy reasons).
