I am looking for some information on the name of one of my ancestors. She wrote her name as Nartohi or Nartoucha, but the only results I've found are similar spellings of Nartuhi and Nartouhi. She was from Turkey but had Armenian ancestry.
Just wondering what it may have meant... I've found a little bit about it possibly being derived from the Persian name Nar, meaning pomegranate. Thank you!

My friend's middle name is Nartuhi and she told me that it means "lavender flower". She is of Armenian ancestry.
