And as for the main question -- I can't say I remember for sure having seen Lameria before, but I've seen many names like it since it seems to fit in with the La- names such as Lawanda, Latoya, Lakeisha, Lashonda, Lanisha, Lameisha, Lamika, etc. that were especially popular with African-American parents in the 1970s and 1980s.
