I am a writer and just wrote a wonderful new children's book called CHARLOTTE THE FIRST,about a little girl who is the second child in a family and longs to be the first. Charlotte is a beautiful name of German descent and I believe it means "free man." Names are so wonderful to study and children take such pride in their names, that is, if they like them. Mary Mahony

Yes...children can be so exited because of their names,,,but also "hate" them ahahahaha
I love my name since I was a child and I'm interested in names since I was at elementary school !
