Yes, obviously I've tried that lol, however it gave me no meaning other than a city. They named the city at some point and when they did I'm sure it had a meaning. Thats basically what I'm looking for. Or perhaps there is a different origin than Sabinus.
There isn't a different origin than Sabinus. I wouldn't hold your breath for a meaning for Sabinus though; the name is so old that the original meaning of it (if there ever was one) is probably long gone. None of the sources I've looked at even hint at there being an extractable meaning; we're not even sure which language the name comes from.
