I recently gave birth to my 1st baby, and named her Tasma. I do have no idea of the meaning, however think its a beautiful name.
If someone knows of some sort of meaning I would love to know.
However is great to hear of soo many other Tasmas around, until now I only ever knew of one other Tasma, but alot of Tasmins, in which my little girl gets mistaken for.

Tasma is the name of an Australian actress, Tasma Walton, and there are a few around in Australia...
It could possibly be associated with the Australian state, Tasmania which was named in honour of explorer Abel Tasman.
