Use of PATRICK and PATRICIA before St.Patrick?
I've done a bit googling, but I haven't been able to get beyond St.Patrick. So my question ist: When was PATRICIUS first used as a given name? And what about PATRICIA?
When did PATRICIUS turn up as a byname?

Monica's husband was named Patricius, so the name was definitely used before St. Patrick. No idea when was the first occasion though.
