Could this be a feminine version of Vincent? I like Vicente and Vicenta seems so pretty, I'd use 'Vita' for short. So, is it legitimate at all? Is it a real name? Does it have traceable roots? Have you ever heard it used? Thanks!

Yes, it's the Spanish feminine form of Vincent. The equivalent of Vincenza (Italian), Vicença (Portuguese) or Vincentia (Latin).
