Morphia
This was the name of the mother of Queen Melisande of Jerusalem. According to Wikipedia, she was an Armenian from the city of Melitene (present-day Malatya). I'm guessing the name is of Armenian origin (possibly Hellenized from the original form). What does the name mean?

I have no idea ,but When I googled, I found it as old-fashioned term for morphine.
It looks like a girl name.

I’m not familiar with Armenian names, but I checked the woman in question and apparently the family was Greek Orthodox and I would assume that Morphia was a feminisation of the Greek name Morpheus.

Thanks!
I'm pretty sure this is the meaning.

I wonder why they didn't go with MORPHEA for the feminization...
