Is this the correct latinized form of Maximilien Robespierre?
When I was sifting through the history of the French revolution, I came across Robespierre and the french revolution. After reading about him and the reign of terror, I was completely fascinated by this historical figure. So, after that I got obsessed with his name. I tried making or getting different interpretations of what his name would be like in different languages. First I started with Maximilien(French form), the most I could come up with was Maximilian(English,German, ect., very common form in a lot of languages), Maximiliaan(Dutch form), and Maximilianus(Latin form). Once I saw Maximiliaan, it reminded me of ancient Norse, Scandinavian, and Germanic Names. So as well as being a major history buff, I play a lot of video games as well(especially R.P.G.S), one of those being Skyrim. So I wanted to know what Maximilien Robbespierre would have done during the Skyrim civil war as a Nord(race based off ancient Norse, Scandinavian, and Germanic Peoples). So first I decided to make his name sound more Nord, Sadly I couldn't come up with anything for Maximilien, so i turned to his last name, and Came up with Rodespjorri(also what do you think of this), and thus made his last name his first name. Then I had to come up with a last name, since most Nord names are for example-the Fair, Stormcloak, Battle-Born, the huntress- I decided to use what his friend's and allies called him(the Incorruptible), I came up with Rodespjorri the Incorruptible. The game also has a race similar to the romans, so i then set it upon myself to come up with a latin version of his name. I had recently watched the anime(or cartoon) Le Chevalier D'Eon, which features him in it. Sadly I'm getting tired of writing this so i won't go into the specifics of the show very much, but as far as inspiration i took form it was he is the true son of the king and a poet(not a literary one) who use to be a french spy, but recently betrayed the king and became a revolutionary leader. And so since since you get to kill the Imperial emperor in Skyrim, I was thinking of making him Imperial instead of Nordic. So i came up with a story line involving him being the bastard child of Titus II Mede, and so on and so fourth. So after hours of trying to latinize Robespierre, I came up with Robepetrus, and Robesparus, which I thought neither worked, so I look vicipaedia and came up with nothing . Until I came on to a wiki page in a random language that listed his name as Maksimiljanas Robespjeras( which i found to be similar to latin), and thus came up with
Maximilianus Robespierus. So if any one can help me confirm or give some advice i would really appreciate it. And so as usual thank you to of whomever can help me, and actually reads this long boring message.
