this name is on the marriage cert of my grandfather whos father was a mounted policeman in india during the 1860sand this was the name of his witness who i presume was a brother also born in india (calcutter) but my grandfather married at the age of 24 in liverpool england in 1897 and i am hoping that the name may be a clue as my grandfather was arthur cooper lloyd. any help would be appreciated thanks. never used this site before so i dont know how it works.

I am not sure this is the name but it was the name of a witness on a marriage cert and this is the nearest i could get it . It could also be Unesgood or a similar name but i am trying to trace my family tree of an ancester born to british parents in india and his middle name was cooper and i think they may have been brothers. any little clue will be of help.
