I combined two classical names, Gabriel and Bryan to get Gabrien. As far as I can find from online birth records my son was the 1st to have this name in recent history (2000 birth)

This woman also "made up" Gabrien for her son, and poster Andy provided some possible inspirations: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/fact/152416 including a town and a man from the 1700s!
