St. Rafta and St. Kilda

St. Kilda is the name of an island group in Scotland. I currently watched a tv documentary about it and became interested in the history of the name. Who was St. Kilda? Why was the island group named after her? What does Kilda mean?

I saw a medal in a catholic online shop and that medal was dedicated to St. Rafta. Any ideas about the name or do you have info about the life of St. Rafta?
