Popularity of Leola in Pennsylvania or the South

Hi-Have a quilt signed 'Leola' and from the fabrics know it's c.1900. The dealer says it's Pennsylvania but it looks southern to me, like NC maybe. Anybody have a feel for where 'Leola' might have been a more common name?

Hi, My husband's name was Leola, and we just met another Leola last night. She said her name is Cherokee. We had never met another Leola. If you find out more, I'd like to know, because my husband was never told that he had Native American heritage.
