Does anyone know if the name Zerrin is a unisex name in Turkey? I know on this site it claims it is female and means daffodil, though when I looked it up online the meaning was always listed as golden and, on some sites, it is listed as either male or female. This is the name of a male character of mine who comes from a Turkish background so I want to be sure that it isn't a female name. If anyone can tell me for sure, it would be much appreciated!

as most of turkish names are word names i looked it up in my turkish-german dictionary.
it says that "zerrin" means " golden, gold-plated, made of gold; Poet's Daffodil,Narcissus poeticus". as far as i know it is used as a female name.
