Raya
I don't know how to add a comment to the descriptions of a name so I post it at this board.
Raya(Rah-ya) is a Russian name too, it is a diminutive for Raisa. Raisa is a rare name, and I have met only a couple of them. They went by the nickname Raya, not Rasha, as it was mentioned in one of the comments. I am also a native Russuan, as the author of that comment, but I have never heard about the name Rasha before.
I also know an American girl whose name is Raya. She pronounces it "RAY-ah".
