Hello Caprice,When I first looked at the name, I immediately thought it might be an erroneous spelling or variant transcription. So I googled, for example, Thelchinou and Thelchinoy - but came up with nothing. But then I tried Thelxinou: I also got 0 hits for that, but this time Google asked me whether I actually meant Thelxinoe. I then clicked on Thelxinoe and suddenly got a whole host of results. The proper spelling seems to be Thelxinoë, which was the name of various characters in Greek mythology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thelxino%C3%ABLooking at Pavlos' now defunct website about Greek personal names (via The Wayback Machine), the name basically means "she who charms the mind" and is derived from Greek θέλγω (thelgo) "to captivate" combined with Greek νοῦς (nous) meaning "mind". You can see it for yourself here:http://web.archive.org/web/20120324121243/http://www.etymologica.com/page11.htmI hope that helps. :)
