I'm looking for information about the name Nesuha (f). It's the name of my new sponsor child. She lives in Ethiopia and her family belongs to the Silti ethnic group. I believe the family is Muslim.

Someone more knowledgeable should respond, but there is an Arabic root nasuh which means something like sincerity (often found in the religious context taubat-an-nasuha meaning sincere return or repentance, especially in reference to 66:8 of the holy book). Since names of Arabic origin are popular in many Islamic cultures, this could be related to the name you are searching.
