Maney Publishing, which prints the journal "Names" for The American Name Society, has made "Names" their "journal of the month."
As part of this promotion, you can get free access to the last three years of the journal by signing up at the website below. If you sign up by Jan. 31. you should be able to read any article for free through February 15.
Remember ANS is an organization whose members are interested in all sorts of names so most of the articles will be on literary names, place names, etc., not necessarily personal names. But if you are at all interested in seeing what real scholarly articles in this field are like, this is an opportunity for you to check them out:
