-anna, -aun, -un, -on names
I've been combing through the SSA databases and I've found that most -anna names (Brianna, Arianna) have forms that make sure you pronounce them like AH or AW (Briahna, Briauna etc.). I also found that most have a -unna form, like Briunna, Ariunna.
With male names with -shawn, -shan, -son, -shaun in them (Treshawn, Dasaun), there is usually a -shun form (Treshun, Dasun).
Do you think these names are generally pronounced the same as their -au forms, or are they separate names? I ask because names with -un as a syllable only seem to occur alongside the same names with an -aun variation.
