Two names: origin and meaning?
EDITED: Information added!I was recently asking myself about what the origin and meaning of Sorsha (female) and Alakina (also female) could possibly be. So I browsed the internet but I couldn't find any information about both. Anybody got an idea where those two names come from and/or what they mean?I got Sorsha from Ron Howard's fantasy epos "Willow". Alakina I know from an actress from the UK. Anyone can help me further? Thanks in advance! :-)Cheers,Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitterz and layouts

Since Sorsha is from a fantasy film, it has a good chance of simply having been created by the screenwriter. However, it may also have been based upon the Irish name Sorcha.

Is Alakina her real name or a stage name?edit: just realized you're talking about Alakina Mann from Girl With A Pearl Earing and The Others... but I guess it's still possible her mother gave her a stage name : I'm going to look this up.edit #2: found this archive link - http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=19850&board=gen
