Archivesname about Zoe
my daughters name is Zoe with the two dots above her name.. how do you put those two dots above her name when typing it on the computer.. because they could not do it when she got her birthcertificate it aggrivates me cause her name is speacial .. do u think that i can have them redo her birth certificate withthe two dot above her name thank you Elizabeth

To create the "two dots" (it is called a diaeresis or umlaut and is an accent mark placed on the last vowel of two consecutive vowels to indicate that it is not a silent vowel and is to be pronounced) all you have to do is click "insert" on word document, scrowl down to "symbols" and then find the diaeresis.

my husband wanted it to be diffrent so putting two dots above her name made it unique its cute and i really like it i was just hoping to find out how u put the dots above her E and what it meant...

You can always try to have this done, but if you live in the USA, I doubt that they will do it. It is quite possible that the word processing program used by the state agency that issued the birth certificate simply does not have the capacity to include diacritical marks on names.
