Lamoral
Recently I was reading a book about "The Princely House of Thurn and Taxis". While doing some research on that topic I found out that there was a man named Lamoral in the family.
That is what wikipedia knows about him:
"Count Lamoral II Claudius Franz of Thurn and Taxis (baptized on 14 February 1621 in Brussels; died 13 September 1676 in Antwerp) was a German nobleman and Imperial Postmaster."
Do you have any info about that name?

If you can read dutch, you can find a tentative derivation for Lamoraal here:

Thank you! Does it say that Lamoral comes from the Turkish name Amurath?
Seems so. A search for Amurath turns up this, hinting at Amurath being a variant of Murat / Murad:

Thank you!
