Having looked at the comments, I don't see any reason why the owner of this site needs to "fix" this without further evidence. Most of the comments do not give any source for their claims about the derivation of Cormac. The one that does refers to a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and as of a few moments ago the Wikipedia article on the name itself has no sources for its claim that the "son of defilement" derivation used by this site is impossible because the word for "defilement" wasn't being used when the name was first found.
So unless you can point to a reliable source from an expert on ancient Irish language and naming practices, the comments simply aren't enough reason for the etymology to be changed. One needs evidence for such a change, not mere assertion.
