Re: meaning

In the New Testament RHODE is a girl slave in the house of Maria (mother of John Mark) in Jerusalem. She is mentioned in Acts 12,12-15. Her name means "rose" in Greek (rhodon). The words "rose" and "rhodon" are related, their origin maybe in India or somewhere else in the east.
In English bibles she is usually called RHODA.
