Re: Pronunciaton of Ourania

Pronounced yu-RAIN-ee-uh. At least that's what I found on a Greek Mythology website. In case you didn't know...Ourania is the Greek Muse of astronomy and astrology. She's one of the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. She is said to have had two sons by Apollo—Linos, who personified songs of lament, and Hymenaios, who personified wedding songs. Ourania’s name, which means “heavenly,” is also seen as Urania.
I also found this pronunciation yu-RAH-nee-ah of Urania which is a little different from the pronunciation that is on BtN.
Over the floor and down the wall,
Like ghosts the shadows rise and fall!
