I'm french and if it can help you, Kildine is my second name. My grand father found it and told my parents it was an ancient oyal french name. I'm not sure he was right...
I've found that a russian islan is called Kildine, and that there is a dialect called like that "the same of kildin" (without the e).
So it may be russian?
