Meaning of Akrong?
I have an African penfriend and his name is Akrong. I'd really like to know what his name means. So if anybody has an idea please answer.

"African" is entirely too broad a designation for this question. There are hundreds of different ethnic groups and languages in Africa. Which ethnic group does you friend belong to? What languages does he speak?

There are a 100 languages and dialects in Ghana only with English as one lingua franca. Your friend probably knows the meaning of his name himself. I guess that he is Ga speaking. Many traditional African names (but not Moslem names derived from Arabic) are descriptive. I once knew a Ugandan called Jamhadri meaning Born-to-die (called James) because his parents had lost so many children before they had him. A friend of my daughter's is called Adero in Luo which specifies the time of the night she was born while her sister is Atieno.

He is from Ghana (I don't know the exact ethnic group) and he speaks English as far as I know.
