Keriman
I found this Turkish feminine name a while back. Apparently, it was the name of the 1932 Miss Turkey beauty pageant winner. I cannot find a meaning for Keriman anywhere, but I think it might be of Arabic or Persian origin. Does anyone here know what it means?

Keriman (together with simply Kerima) seems to be a Turkish variant of the Arabic name Karima, which is in the database.
Confirmation, of sorts, gave me the Google Translate output of this page on a Turkish "baby names" website:
http://www.bebek.com/isim_bankasi/keriman/1900
The (translated) meaning given there is "generous, great", which is also the meaning of Karim / Karima.

Thank you so much!
