two names
Awel. I know this is a Welsh name, meaning, breeze, but does anyone know how to pronounce it?
And Kateri. I'm pretty sure this is a name, and that I haven't just made it up, but I can't seem to find it on any website or in any book that I've checked. I'm guessing it's a form of Catehrine, so the meaning is 'pure,' but I'd like to know the pronounciation, if anyone knows it.

Kateri is a Native American tribal form of Catherine, Mohawk I believe but I'm not certain. The pronunciation is disputed but most things I've read have something similar to gah-deh-LEE though I think some sites put the stress on a different syllable. Kateri was the name of a Roman Catholic saint, Kateri Tekakwitha, the Lily of the Mohawks.
