Suffixes
Can anyone tell me what the female equivalent of the suffix 'son' is, please?
This is for a character in a world that is decidedly English, so a Mac/Nic prefix or Ski/Ska suffix just doesn't feel right.
I've looked for it myself, but just can't find anything helpful.
Otherwise, could anyone recommend another form of son of/daughter of denotation that might be suitable?
Thanks in advance; even if no one can help, thanks for reading...

'der' means daughter in Gaelic
That's exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for and it could work.
Thanks so much!!!
