Hearing names in a dream...
I had a dream last night: There were two strange men in my house. My feeling was more irritation than fear. I asked for their names as I confronted them. They said "David Reed" and, I only recall the last name of the other man, "Thurn." I started a search and ended up on this website. This is very interesting to me.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't belive the dream has any real meaning to life, but if you do I guess you've come to the right place.
David and Reed are both in the database. We do ask that you check the data base before posting because this board is for names that are not in the database. (Click the links to David and Reed).
Thurn is not a given name. It may be a legitimate surname, but you'll have to check with our sister site to see.

I actually know someone who was given a name heard in a dream! Her name is Tari, and her father loves to tell how he dreamed one night he met a mysterious woman dressed in Arabic fashion, with only her eyes exposed. He asked her who she was, and she said, "My name is Tari...I'm your daughter." His daughter was born soon after that. She's the only Tari I've ever known. Is the name completely from his subconscious?
Thanks for responding...Cerridwen is a very cool 'royalty' sounding name...I've not heard it before. Your Mom followed through with your name "convinced"...it's good to live consciously, I believe, meaning if something feels right to you then it must be right...so follow through.
I think its great that you have spoken on several occasions to the people that are appearing in your dreams. These people/spirit/helpers will guide you no doubt... you need to ask them questions and see what they have to say about it... all fascinating stuff...!!!Xx Take in the colours surrounding them or colours that seem prominent in your dream, you should log everything nd then you 'll be amazed at what you remember and what you are being told. Ask them if they are heree to guide you...can't wait to hear their response xLea
Thanks! Yes it's sure fun to look forward to sleep and be entertained...ha...I have a dream journal...logging for years actually...your suggestions are great...I hope I'll be able to "ask them questions" next time. You must be into meanings of colors...I use an interpretation book sometimes.
