Hi, I was wondering what is the history/meaning to the name Lu and do you think it is a nice name for a girl? Do you think people would tease people with the name Lu. Another thing...is it related to the german (Louise) or the Italian (Luisa) because Lu is apart of my name and I got teased a lot at School for having that name and another thing would it be entirely wrong to change it (Lu) to the Italian (Luisa)/German (Louise) because they both have Lu at the beginning of each name

i actually don't know what Lu means, but it is also related to the polish- Luiza. Personally, I think that's really pretty name :)

thank you for your help. can i ask your opinion? should i keep lu apart of my name or change it to luize/luiza/louise. because in a couple of years time I have this huge exam that all yr 12's do and i'm not sure what name i should go by during the exam period and what name i want printed on my certificate (at the end of the exam period). Help please
