My husband and son have the same name, hes a junior, junior had a son and name him the same except he added a middle name,and he added III, meaning hes the third( both hubby and junior do not have a middle name)is my grandson actually the third?

Traditonalists would say no, because technically, a II, III or IV for that matter needs to have the same middle name. But oday, people are stretching the rules, and keeping the first same name, but different middle names, for the sake of less confusion.
So, if he's a III or not is totally up to you!
