Real name or not?
I just wanted to know whether Terry Pratchetts character names are taken from real life, most are obvious but what about
Angua (female)
Eskarina (female)
^.^ Oh and a thankyou for those who helped with the Courtesan names, I actually ended up picking Letha (Greek for Oblivion) as It goes more in depth that what she is...here's a picture I made for her character (hah, the character is actually a horse but...neh ^.^)

Eskarina looks like just a random stroke of Discworld genius, but Angua is more subtle, don't you think? The anger in ang- , the snakiness in ang- as well, with its suggestion of a treacherous animal, the -gua making a GWAH! sound like a snarl, and the suburban innocence of Anne, for the other three weeks in the month ... oh,yes!
