wanting further info on "Thais"
I've found that its Greek "the bond" or "bandage". That took like 2 seconds on a google search :/
I wanted to know if there was an english derivation of Thais (eg. Andreas becomes Andrew). Any derivatives would be nice though :/

There really is no common English derivative of Thais; it's never been used to any noticeable extent in English-speaking countries. But the Catholic encyclopedia gives Thaisis and Thaisia as other forms of the name of St. Thais:http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/14553d.htm
