They are variants from Aiglina, feminine form of Aigle, from the Germanic Aigel/Eigel (from eigan, "to have").

It can als be from Greek Αιγλη (Aigle) which meant "light, radiance, glory". Aegle is the Latina form from Greek Aigle.
