Gaenna
It's Welsh, a form of Guinevere. Is it pronounced GAY-na?

It's not Welsh with that spelling, as far as I know. It doesn't look Welsh to me, and there's not a single instance of it in the births. marriages and deaths for Wales (from 1837-2008). I think it's probably an American variant of Gaenor / Gaynor.
Gaenor is used in Wales - it's always been pretty rare though. ae is pronounced like the i in 'like', so it's GUY-nor.

Thanks!
I'd never heard of it, and someone I know was asking about it as a middle name for the baby girl they're expecting. All she told me was that it's Welsh and pronounced like Jenna, and I was like... ummm, I think probably not. So I Googled it and found in several places about the Guinevere thing. Maybe it is a non-Welsh variant. I'll pass on the information, though, thanks again!
