Questions about Cathleen
I recently bumped Kathleen up several spots on my favorites list, however, as a general rule I prefer C's over K's. According to BtN, Cathleen is a variant of Kathleen (which in itself is an anglicized version of Caitlin [I can't do accents]).
What is the history and usuage of the Cathleen variation? If I named my daughter Cathleen would, would I just be subjecting her to unneccessary corrections throughout her life, or is this a widely used variation that I've just never come across?
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
