wen/wyn
In Welsh, wen is feminine and wyn is masculine. I just read that in Irish, wyn is feminine. Is wen masculine in Irish, or is it also feminine?

What names were mentioned? Wen/wyn isn't used in Irish names at all. The only -wen name I have come across in Ireland is Bronwen and that is pretty rare. If I met a Bronwyn I would assume it was a girl with a slightly creative spelling.
I don't remember which name it was, but I just looked at the comments on Bronwyn and a poster said that wen is masculine in Irish and wyn is feminine in Irish.
