Is it male or female?
If it is your name what is your nationality?
Where did you or your parents first hear / see this name?
The more information you give the more chance someone will be able to help

I am confused. What did you say about the name Paris?
I am greek, my name is Paris, I am a boy and I have searched very much for the following explanation..
"Son of Priamos, Aleksandros, was told to be, by a profecy, the one who would destroy Troy. King Priamos ordered a farmer to take the baby and kill it. The farmer left the baby into the woods to be killed by verocius animals. But Aleksandros surveived. Then the farmer was convinced that this child was ment to live. And he took him "para". In this case "para" (greek word) means "next", "with". And that child was called "Aleksandros, o Paris", that means that "Paris" as a name, was specifing the more common name Aleksandros."
